Everything you need to know before purchasing.

No. The plugin uses Tutor LMS’s built-in template override system. It places custom template files in your active theme’s tutor folder. When the plugin is deactivated, these files are automatically removed and Tutor reverts to its default comment templates. No core files are touched.
Yes. There’s a toggle in the settings to restrict image uploads to course instructors only. When enabled, students won’t see the attach button and any upload attempts from students are blocked server-side too. Instructors for the specific course can still upload normally.
The plugin supports JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images up to 2MB each. Images are uploaded to the WordPress media library and served through your normal media URLs. They’re displayed inline within the comment with responsive sizing.
No. The plugin prevents self-voting. Vote buttons are disabled on your own comments. Votes are also toggle-based — clicking the same vote type again removes it, and clicking the opposite switches it. Each student gets one vote per comment.
All students enrolled in the course plus all instructors for that course. The comment author is excluded so they don’t get notified of their own post. Emails include the course name, lesson name, a comment excerpt, and a direct link to the lesson.
It works with both Tutor LMS Free and Pro, as long as lesson comments are enabled in your Tutor LMS settings. The plugin requires WordPress 5.0+ and PHP 7.4+.
